AC80 Series
For Imported / Exported Equipment
Programmable AC power supply purpose-built for power-supply allocation for imported and exported equipment. Continuously adjustable voltage and frequency.

Industrial AC Power Source Solutions Built for Factory Reality
AURALIS Power manufactures three complementary product series that solve the most common power-compatibility problems faced by factories operating imported machinery, multi-country production lines, and precision equipment. Our core product is a static frequency converter (SFC) — also called a static frequency changer — a solid-state power electronic converter system, not a rotary machine. Whether you need to run a single imported machine on local grid frequency, supply an entire production line from a programmable AC power source, or protect sensitive equipment from grid disturbances, there's a series built for your exact case.
- Step & ramp-up/down functions reduce motor inrush current
- Three-phase ganged, independent, or parallel output modes
- Wireless/remote monitoring for multiple units

Built for Real Factory Scenarios
From imported machinery to export testing — static frequency converters solve power-compatibility problems across the factory floor.
Imported Machinery
Run 60Hz-rated CNC machines, production equipment, and controllers safely on 50Hz local power (or 50Hz equipment on a 60Hz grid).
Export Testing
Simulate the destination market's grid frequency before shipping — catch compatibility issues before your customer does.
Factory Power Distribution
Supply an entire production line or lab with clean, stable, adjustable AC power from a single centralized source.
Precision Equipment Protection
Shield communications, medical device, and precision instrument production lines from grid voltage dips and disturbances.
CE Certified Static Frequency Converter (SFC)
Every AC80, AC60 and AC50 series unit is manufactured to satisfy CE marking requirements under the EU Low Voltage Directive and EMC Directive, and is designed in line with the scope of IEC 62477-1, the international general safety standard for power electronic converter systems (PECS) — giving factory engineers and EPC contractors confidence in electrical safety and EMC compliance.
- CE marked (Low Voltage Directive & EMC Directive)
- Designed in line with IEC 62477-1 (PECS) international safety standard
- Voltage accuracy ≤0.1% F.S / frequency accuracy ≤0.01% F.S
- Fiber-optic drive control for strong EMI immunity
- Continuous 24-hour operation, -20°C to 45°C
Static Frequency Converter vs. VFD — What's the Difference?
These two terms are often confused in search results, but they solve completely different problems.
| Static Frequency Converter | VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Changes the grid power frequency itself (e.g. 60Hz → 50Hz, or 50Hz → 60Hz) | Adjusts the speed of a specific AC motor by varying its input frequency |
| Typical use case | Running imported equipment on local grid frequency; export testing; factory power supply | Controlling fans, pumps, conveyors, or other motor-driven equipment speed |
| Output | Clean, stable sine-wave AC power for the entire connected equipment | Variable frequency signal specifically shaped for one motor's speed control |
If your equipment nameplate says “60Hz only” and your local grid is 50Hz — you need a static frequency converter, not a VFD.

Static Frequency Converter (SFC) — Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from factory engineers and EPC contractors evaluating the AC80, AC60 and AC50 series.
What is a static frequency converter (SFC)?
A static frequency converter (SFC), sometimes called a static frequency changer, is a solid-state power electronic converter system that changes AC power from one frequency to another (e.g. 60Hz to 50Hz, or 50Hz to 60Hz) without moving parts. It's used to run imported equipment on local grid frequency, supply factory power, or simulate a destination market's grid for export testing.
What's the difference between a static frequency converter and a VFD?
A static frequency converter changes the grid power frequency itself, supplying clean AC power to all connected equipment. A VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) adjusts the speed of one specific motor by varying its input frequency. If your equipment nameplate says “60Hz only” and your local grid is 50Hz, you need a static frequency converter, not a VFD. See the full comparison
Is a static frequency converter the same as a transformer?
No. A transformer can only step voltage up or down — it cannot change frequency. If your imported equipment is rated for a different frequency than your local grid (e.g. 60Hz equipment on a 50Hz supply), a transformer alone will not solve the problem; you need a static frequency converter.
Which series should I choose — AC80, AC60, or AC50?
AC80 is purpose-built for imported/exported equipment power allocation (10–800kVA). AC60 is a programmable AC power source for factory-wide power supply and multi-country voltage/frequency simulation (0.5–2,000kVA). AC50 is a stable frequency & voltage power supply for protecting precision equipment from grid disturbances (10–800kVA). Contact our engineering team if you're not sure which fits your case.
Are static frequency converters used in power plants?
Static frequency converters are a recognized technology in power plant applications, most commonly for starting large synchronous generators (turbine/generator startup) by feeding them variable-frequency power before they reach synchronous speed. Our AC80/AC60/AC50 series are engineered for factory and industrial power-compatibility use; contact our engineering team to discuss power-plant-specific requirements.
What certifications does the AC80/AC60/AC50 series carry?
All three series are CE marked under the EU Low Voltage Directive and EMC Directive, and are designed in line with IEC 62477-1, the international general safety standard for power electronic converter systems (PECS).
What's the typical lead time for a static frequency converter order?
Lead time depends on series, power rating and configuration. Contact our engineering team via the quote form below or WhatsApp for a project-specific lead time and quotation.
