Vietnam Shore Power Project
Vietnam has set a national target of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, and a 2026 Communist Party Central Committee resolution on maritime governance (Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW) has been described domestically as a “lighthouse” for modern port policy. Ho Chi Minh City has gone further with a concrete target for its 2026–2030 period: 100% of its seaports meeting green port criteria, alongside efforts to shift container transport from road to barge to cut emissions without raising costs.
With Ho Chi Minh City targeting 100% green-port compliance by 2030 and national maritime governance under active reform through Resolution 20-NQ/TW, Vietnamese ports are moving from voluntary environmental measures to structured green-port criteria — shore power capacity is a direct lever for meeting that target.
AURALIS has supplied multiple 2,400kVA shore power units across Vietnamese port installations, supporting repeated vessel calls at high-traffic berths.
